Style Wars returns for it’s inaugural Halloween edition, Believe the Hype: 80s OGs vs. 90s New Jacks. Come dressed as your fav artist/icon from the 80s era of Hiphop (Grandmaster Flash, Kool Moe Dee, Run DMC, etc…) OR from the 90s New Jack / Golden Era (Humpty Hump, Flavor Flav, Salt n’ Pepa etc…) The culture of these eras spawned some of the most influential figures in Hip Hop and R&B music whose legacies live on to this day. Pay homage to your idols and influences, or just go overboard with a Hammer Pants / Vanilla Ice pompadour / Cross Colours mash-up! In the spirit of Style Wars, we welcome everyone, but the more creative and true-to-form your costume is, the better!
